Turkey Hunting

Hunt turkey in the rolling hills of Southern Illinois. Our turkey hunting is managed to keep hunting pressure at a minimum, in order to give hunters maximum chances at bagging a big, eastern tom. Goose Hunting

Illinois Deer Hunting

Whitetail hunting on Silver Creek land is archery only, and open range hunting. Hunters may choose from a variety of hunting plots in four Southern Illinois counties: St. Clair, Jefferson, Calhoun, and Pike. Altogether, this comprises 2500 acres of deer hunting land.

Illinois deer hunting at Silver Creek Deer herds at Silver Creek are managed to keep the population at a sufficient number, which gives hunters maximum opportunity to bag one buck and one doe whitetail deer. Our management practices tend to produce larger than average bucks, so hunters have an excellent opportunity to bring home a nice buck. We ask that hunters only bag respectable bucks, 120 inches or better, to help us maintain this level of quality.

Deer hunting plots consist of hardwoods, creek bottoms, grain fields (corn, soy beans and wheat), along with a few clover food plots. A number of stands are available throughout our property to all deer hunters, and we have no problems with hunters who would like to bring their own stands. For liability purposes we require that you use a safety harness while utilizing our tree stands, or any you bring with you.

A variety of leasing plans are available throughout our deer hunting grounds. Leasing can be done individually, or in groups. In addition, hunters may choose from 1-day hunts, 3-day hunts, 5-day hunts, and may also lease for an entire year. Lodging is available with some of our leases.
